The Ansmann ACS67P 12v/Mains Fast Charger is suitable for 1400mAh to 3500mAh 7.2v batteries. It uses mains or 12v input.
The charger detects when the pack has reached full capacity. When the battery is fully charged, it will automatically switch from the fast charging current to a trickle, to keep the battery pack full without overcharging it.
A safety timer of 90 minutes, which switches the current to a trickle at this pre-determined time. This is electronically controlled on plugging the battery into the charger. Making this charger more energy efficient, but keeping the battery at full capacity.
